The Beehive Collective is a giving circle that awards grants to nonprofits working toward making Raleigh a better place. Members of the Beehive Collective are also interested in supporting and promoting the development of women through leadership opportunities. By pooling our resources and organizing fun events, we raise money to fund community projects. Since 2008, we’ve given away more than $150,000 in support of causes ranging from public transportation to youth healthcare.

Our Core Values:

  • Diversity & Equal Opportunity: The Beehive Collective is an equal opportunity group that embraces diversity and does not discriminate based on race, age, sex, gender identification, religion, sexual orientation, level of income or education, disability or immigration status.
  • Community Stewardship: The Beehive Collective seeks to build a more just and sustainable community in Raleigh by connecting people to each other and to our city, promoting civic engagement and investment in local nonprofits, and patronizing locally owned and sustainable businesses.
  • Leadership: The Beehive Collective works to break down barriers to leadership among young people in Raleigh, especially young women.

If you’re ready to inspire and support young women leaders, help some of the most deserving causes in Raleigh, and have a good time doing it, then we’re the group for you. Come join us!
