Our 2013 small grant of $2,000 went to the Full Circles Foundation (FCF), an organization in Raleigh that develops strong girls, a fair economy and a healthy earth.

Beehive funds were used to assist in purchasing an 18-passenger diesel bus to transport campers to FCF Strong Camp, a six-week interdisciplinary summer camp (with both day and residential components) for girls K-12 that explores the connections between personal, community and ecological health. The bus will be converted to bio-diesel as a project to educate  campers.
